Hi friends. Kris here.

Thank you for spending your evening with us at Ethọ́s Lab. The room felt warm, curious, and grounded. We shared real stories, useful tools, and honest questions about what AI is doing to learning in BC.

Full notes are here: https://vancouver.bc-ai.net/ed-ai-meetup-2

A few things we heard again and again. Access is uneven across districts. Agency matters for students, parents, and teachers. Assessment needs to move toward authentic projects and reflection. Tools are only helpful when they serve relationships and craft.

What’s next. We will announce the date for the next ED + AI community meetup soon. If you have a lesson, rubric, or small demo you want to share next time, reply with a one‑liner and a link. If you want to help cover basics costs and community reply and I’ll follow up.

From the heart. ED + AI is a small circle for learning in public. Bring a lesson or a flop. Listen with care. Leave with one clear next step. We will keep it practical, ethical, and local, and make space for parents, youth, educators & researchers to lead.

With gratitude, Kris Krüg BC + AI Ecosystem

PS. We’ve opened Founding Membership for BC + AI. It is a way to grow our circle of people exploring what it means to be human in the age of AI and synthetic everything, and to weave a member led nonprofit community. If you want details, reply and I will send them. You can also join here: https://bc-ai.ca/membership/
