Participants: Loki, Kris, Michel, David, Udbhav and Janani

Context: Strategic visioning and governance of MAC as a public-facing initiative and community-led special interest group (SIG) within BC + AI.

1. MAC’s Core Purpose: Reaffirmed

The Three Foundational Pillars:

  1. A Space for Deep Theory & Inquiry

    Where members test personal theories, riff with others, and deepen understanding of AI, consciousness, and self.

  2. Community Building & Civic Literacy

    A structured-yet-fluid space that welcomes the curious, incubates depth, and builds capacity inside BC’s AI ecosystem.

  3. External Visibility & Cultural Leverage

    MAC becomes a public point-of-contact for media, funders, and researchers seeking serious discourse on AI & consciousness.

2. Positioning & Identity

MAC = Bottom-Up Academia + Street-Level Metaphysics

Blends rigour with accessibility; participation > credentials.

Not anonymous, not institutionally gatekept—but guided and cultivated.

Intentionally designed to attract thoughtful weirdos, critical thinkers, spiritual technologists, and postdisciplinary explorers.

“We are the antidote to the inhumane qualities of social media. It’s embodied, participatory, and real.”
