BC’s Energy + AI Survey

Subhead: British Columbia is rich in clean power. AI wants a big slice. You get a say.

What this is: A short public survey about how BC should power AI — where the electricity comes from, who decides how it gets used, and what communities should get in return.

Why now:

• AI data centers can draw as much power as towns. BC’s choices today set the tone for a decade.
• Communities, Nations, and workers deserve a real voice before deals get inked.
• We’re building a public dataset so policy, industry, and organizers can work from facts, not vibes.

Who should take it: Anyone living in BC. City kids, rural crews, tech folks, nurses, loggers, students, Elders. If you flip a light switch here, you’re invited.

How it works: 20 questions. About 6 minutes. Plain language. No trickery.

What we do with results:

• Publish an open summary and brief provincial leaders, utilities, and municipalities.
• Host community report-backs and share the anonymized dataset with builders, researchers, and Nations.
• Turn findings into practical tools at the next Vancouver AI hackathon.

Data promise: No names. No ads. Optional demographics help make the data fair. Aggregated results only.
